In the search for a more recent version of Pound to install on my servers I came out with no luck, I wanted the ability to turn off SSLv2 as well as SSLv3 due to the past security problems regarding these protocols, I did not find anything, so I uploaded a package to my PPA at Launchpad, please feel free to submit any bugs/changes regarding this package. The package can be found here:

And can be added with
~ ยป add-apt-repository ppa:frhnk/pound
